… 11 Pictures, 849 words, under 5 minutes to read. 😀 The rain was persistent, so was my loneliness, and my willingness to spend one last day in Seoul nicely. Moreover, I had dinner appointment with my super nice host, … Continue reading Memory of Seoul on May 15, 2016

Thought on the Road; One Nice Manner

Speaking of craving samgyeopsal on my previous post triggers the appearance of another topic. It’s about that one nice manner that gained my attention during trip to South Korea every time I dined with my Korean friends. Okay, this blog direction is slowly becoming ‘Yuna’s 12 Days South Korean Random Review’. 😀 I am a person without a complex table manner or etiquette, so that one gesture that will be revealing here was noticed by me due to that reason. It was every time I had meals with my Korean friends; they always prepared and arranged the spoon and chopsticks … Continue reading Thought on the Road; One Nice Manner

Craving Samgyeopsal

Oh, I am craving samgyeopsal (삼겹살) now. It seems to me, being in a group of people who like Korean food brings both good and bad effects. The good thing is the whole information about food that I have received, including those best deals. In other hand, it also becomes the bad effects; my entire day is always full of seducing food which makes me craving it. Oh. And the worst case is, I can’t have it all now. I write one of them instead. *I will write it one by one though* Please bear it. 😀 ❤ Now, let’s have … Continue reading Craving Samgyeopsal

A Perfect Match: Rain and Noodle

I don’t know about you, but for me, when the rain is pouring down, all I could think is noodle; hot and watery noodle. That’s one of my guilty comfort food. I though it would only be my comfort food in Indonesia, but it also happened be one while I was in Seoul. I remember that I came to this place on my way to Dongdaemun from Hanok Bukchon Village in Seoul. It was raining. I passed this small restaurant. From the outer, it didn’t look like a stall with a space for customer to sit and enjoy the meals. … Continue reading A Perfect Match: Rain and Noodle

Walking Busker and Watching Barry

Yuna is back to diligent writing mode. In seconds, my fourth first experience in South Korea will be revealed; playing with dogs. Yes, you read it right. I know so many people, few of which are close relatives of mine, who can’t live without their pets, especially dogs or cats, people who are very different with me. Even my sister was sobbing badly when she had to be separated from her dearest dog because of one reason, which I have never understand well why she had to be like that (am I sounded so cold now?) Please don’t get me … Continue reading Walking Busker and Watching Barry

A Whole Night Out in Hongdae on Friday Night

“It’s Friday!!! “Please join our…” “Let’s the party starts! “Yeah, Friday!” “Party time!” Those are the same repeated messages that I’ve always received for more than one month after I came back from South Korea. I’ve never been a party goer, even when I was much younger, but I keep on receiving those messages since I’m part of the Seoul’s couchsurfing’s group chat and the invitation is the group’s weekly schedule on every Friday night. Unless I visit Seoul, I can’t join the meeting and all the group members already know it, however I still enjoy what they share because … Continue reading A Whole Night Out in Hongdae on Friday Night

Saturday Morning in Hongdae

Let me stop imaging what happened in Hongdae on Friday night, as the Seoulites festively welcoming the weekends. I spent a whole night in Hongdae once and it seems too hard to forget, especially when each Friday morning I’ve received the notification to celebrate it from Seoul’s couchsurfing group since a month ago. It’s kind of notification that makes me even harder now to forget my memories of South Korea. After the busy notification and hailing since Thursday night, Friday morning, until the due time, the crowd of chatting group would be finally replaced by the stream of pictures and … Continue reading Saturday Morning in Hongdae
