Short Story of My Trip to South Korea

After arriving back to Indonesia from my South Korea trip, I’ve got a lot of question about my itinerary and budget. It might be caused by my (seemed interesting) holiday pictures that I’d posted all around my social media. Honestly speaking, I didn’t get many places to see for 10 days there, so I’ve only answered that I didn’t have many suggestion, but stories. If only they wanted to hear it, but I didn’t think they would. I think I could publish at least two books for those stories (joke). 😀 😀 I might be changing the way of my … Continue reading Short Story of My Trip to South Korea

Asakusa, Akiba, and Shinjuku at First Time

No, I didn’t procrastinate this post. I got my day off yesterday, so I had no good internet connection. 😥 April 28th, 2013 Our last day in Tokyo before heading to next city, Kyoto. I have posted two pictures below before; however, I’m not over it. Asakusa, 10:20 a.m Meeting up the cuteness promise, while travelling around Tokyo, it was really easy to find anything that awakened whether the cuteness inside each of us or our playful sides. Akiba, 12.24 a.m Does anyone here know what are they doing? Found this in Akihabara, they eyes were all stuck on their gadgets. I … Continue reading Asakusa, Akiba, and Shinjuku at First Time

Shinsekai, Osaka

This post will be about me and Shinsekai, and will  be… a little bit narcissistic. 😀 Shinsekai is one popular tourist destination in Tennoji Area, Osaka, in spite of its lack of safety issue. The issue I couldn’t affirmed, whether it was true or just rumor because as far as I remembered, I’ve never felt that way. I’ve visited Shinsekai twice and I had never even once faced the safety issue. All I’ve ever felt was the excitement while walking from one lane to another. I think it was really hard to be in bad mood while in Shinsekai area, … Continue reading Shinsekai, Osaka

Those Little Things in Osaka

In this life, sometimes, we don’t put much attention to the existence of few (what we thought as little) things, like these things in Osaka, which actually were not little that I’d never noticed its presence until my second visit at last autumn, 2014. It seemed to me that all sparkling and colorful neon signs that spread all over the city or the beautiful places that I’ve been in distracted me from seeing in. I saw few of which when bowing. At some points, these were simply attractive. This cute squirrel was first seen by Dadiet, at first I wondered how … Continue reading Those Little Things in Osaka

The Walk of A Geisha

I’m not over with “Memoirs of A Geisha” by Arthur Golden, yes, I know that I was left too far behind from this book was published for the first time or even from its movie first coming out. However, there were few places which were written in the book that I want to share. ◊Kamo River River or stream was mentioned so many times in the book, but as far as I remember, the only one river that flows close to Gion District is Kamogawa River, one of the most popular spots for both tourist and Kyoto resident. Spending time … Continue reading The Walk of A Geisha

The Scent of Autumn of Arashiyama

When I was planning my trip to Japan for autumn 2014, I was really attracted by any foliage colour of autumn. All the websites, blogs, and brochures that I’d read during preparation were showing how beautiful the colour of autumn of Japan would be. So, I set my heart and my mind for enjoying any trees leaves changing during that moment. My thought about the beauty of autumn leaves was lingered on until I found out the truth when I arrived at Hakone at the southern of Tokyo. When I first saw the scenery, I was perplexed. At that moment … Continue reading The Scent of Autumn of Arashiyama

Bustling Doutonbori, Osaka

I have been to Osaka twice and always visited Doutonbori, one of the main tourist destination in Osaka. In spite of the fact of its crowd, I still haven’t found any reasons not to adore the Doutonbori Area. Furthermore it was like my re-charged spot. On my second visit, my friend said that the entire advertisement at Doutonbori Area was over-illuminated, but I didn’t think so. It did surprise me at the first glance, and still did surprise me at the second chance. I saved Doutonbori as the last place to be visited on the planning day. So, after spending … Continue reading Bustling Doutonbori, Osaka

Simple Loha Prasat in Glittering Wat Ratchanatda Temple, Bangkok

Bangkok and its temple are something we could not be separated. Like usual, I always have “something” favourite when I see so much similar thing during my trip, and temples of Bangkok is not an exception. I couldn’t resist the magnificent and sparkling ornaments, eye candy colours, detailed sculpture, and the grand size of Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaeo, I couldn’t skip the lovely Wat Pho, I was satisfied with the beautiful sunset of Wat Arun, but what I loved the most was the time I entered Loha Prasat in Wat Ratchanatda. It was the first temple we entered … Continue reading Simple Loha Prasat in Glittering Wat Ratchanatda Temple, Bangkok
